The Sixties Radical adn The Same Old BS

The same old argument goes around and around and no one seems to get the real implications of what is really going on.

The trumpet of change is in the air.

Many Christians will always be what they are bogus. This is why when many folks see a Christians coming they run for the hills.

Many come off as pompous know it alls who quote the Bible freely however when one examines the actions of their lives guess what many are hypocrites.

A side note I never knew Christians had talking points like many in the Liberal media, Dems, and Republicans.

There is a huge Christian network of talking points on what to say and what Bible verses to use when making certain points.

Need I say more.

I know who I really am and many mistake my confidence for arrogance.

Many of these so-called Christians spout the ways of God yet when push comes to shove these folks fall short.

Many just sit in the do nothing church.

I know many Christians  pray for the nation and everything in between but when confronted with the real enemy they will  use prayer only to fight the foe and that’s it.

Or they will use the lame excuse I am not part of this world so I don’t have to do anything.

I use prayer in my life but some elbow grease is required too.

Sure, Christians are held to a high standard.

This is what they say.

Okay, my question to you is what higher standard are you talking about?

Please explain to me what you exactly mean.

I know my faults and shortcomings, and my defects of character.

I have spent many years, with the help of a few close people, examine my life with a flashlight. Then I wrote down the exact nature of my wrongs. I then shared them with these folks.

It is important for this cat to take care of my side of the street and focus on  how I have harmed others not what others have done to me.

So, what is the point of this drivel?

It is very simple.

Many of these so-called high and mighty Christians are focused on themselves. My blessings, my this, and my that.

This is exactly why this country is in the shits.

If you don’t like the use this word too bad.

Maybe my father was a rare bird but I was taught to think and examine the world around me.

My dad taught me how to think and ask questions.

This is part of my innate nature and my intense curiosity of the world and how it all works.

Please don’t think I have a hard on for Christians I don’t.

Take heed Christians for we are now as a nation in a very dangerous time. It is either time to crap or get off the pot.

The Prez is touting how he will use the expired tax cuts and the massive raise in taxes that will happen in 2011, and then in turn the Prez will use this money and give it to small businesses.

This is pure Bullshit.

Anyone with a half a brain knows that if you raise taxes this will kill the economy.

Only rich folks hire people.

Ask the man on the street for a job guess what fool he doesn’t have the bucks to hire you.

Small business is the key to our economy.

When 2011 hits small business will be killed due to increased taxes and in the end this is exactly what the Prez, the Dems, the Left, and many in the Republican Party wanted to happen all along.

The diabolical nature of this is the Prez wants people dependant on government.

Stay in church and pray.

Cool dude but when the country falls apart the blame will fall on your shoulders not mine.

For I am not a do nothing born again Jew.

Please read these words from our founding fathers.

Samuel Adams:
“ He who made all men hath made the truths necessary to human happiness obvious to all… Our forefathers opened the Bible to all.” [ “American Independence,” August 1, 1776. Speech delivered at the State House in Philadelphia]

“ Let divines and philosophers, statesmen and patriots, unite their endeavors to renovate the age by impressing the minds of men with the importance of educating their little boys and girls, inculcating in the minds of youth the fear and love of the Deity… and leading them in the study and practice of the exalted virtues of the Christian system.” [October 4, 1790]

John Hancock:
• “In circumstances as dark as these, it becomes us, as Men and Christians, to reflect that whilst every prudent measure should be taken to ward off the impending judgments, …at the same time all confidence must be withheld from the means we use; and reposed only on that God rules in the armies of Heaven, and without His whole blessing, the best human counsels are but foolishness… Resolved; …Thursday the 11th of May…to humble themselves before God under the heavy judgments felt and feared, to confess the sins that have deserved them, to implore the Forgiveness of all our transgressions, and a spirit of repentance and reformation …and a Blessing on the … Union of the American Colonies in Defense of their Rights [for which hitherto we desire to thank Almighty God]…That the people of Great Britain and their rulers may have their eyes opened to discern the things that shall make for the peace of the nation…for the redress of America’s many grievances, the restoration of all her invaded liberties, and their security to the latest generations.
“A Day of Fasting, Humiliation and Prayer, with a total abstinence from labor and recreation. Proclamation on April 15, 1775”

Noah Webster:
“ The duties of men are summarily comprised in the Ten Commandments, consisting of two tables; one comprehending the duties which we owe immediately to God-the other, the duties we owe to our fellow men.”

“In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed…No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.”
[Source: 1828, in the preface to his American Dictionary of the English Language]

Let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God [Exodus 18:21]. . . . If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted . . . If our government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the Divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws. [Noah Webster, The History of the United States (New Haven: Durrie and Peck, 1832), pp. 336-337, 49]

“All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.” [Noah Webster. History. p. 339]

“The Bible was America’s basic textbook
in all fields.” [Noah Webster. Our Christian Heritage p.5]

“Education is useless without the Bible” [Noah Webster. Our Christian Heritage p.5 ]

These men were not do nothing Christians who just sat in the church and prayed.

They were men of action.
