King Solomon wrote three books of the Tanakh. Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes and Proverbs. These three books were written in the different stages of King Solomon’s life.

King Solomon was a master of analogy.

King Solomon’s name means peace.

Ecclesiastes was written by King Solomon in his younger years.

Proverbs was written when He was middle aged and Song of Songs was written when King Solomon was an old man.

Song of Songs is an allegory for our romance of G-d. This is our passionate love story with HaShem.

King Solomon’s most important feat was the construction of the first Temple in 832 BC.

The Tanakh is divided up into three parts. The Torah the first five books, the prophets Nevi’im and the K’tuvim the Holy writings. The Torah, The Prophets and the Holy writings form the acrostic TNK which means the Tanakh.

After the Torah the rest of the Tanakh is considered motivational. This is our history. What we did right and we did wrong. For example Joshua led us into The Promised Land. Yes folks this was military war. This was a different kind of military war. It was a spiritual war. Lives lost in battle was not supposed to happen. When a Life was lost Joshua mourned that loss.

The Torah forms G-ds eternal truth.

The concept of world peace comes from the prophets of Israel. The prophet Isaiah 2:4 “And he shall judge between the nations and reprove many peoples, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift the sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” serve as the mandate for the United Nations.
