This one was very hard to write. Once again, my teacher Pastor Steve Gray hit me right between the eyes with a two by four on Sunday September 17th.
My teacher Steve Gray’s words about troubling times struck a chord. It was more like an atomic bomb in my heart, my mind, my body and my soul. “People will be lovers of self, lovers of money, and lover of pleasure more than G-d.”
Then Pastor Steve added this real kicker in butt.” Go to Church with a form of G-dliness. They will deny the power of G-d for themselves. And this will cause troubling times for you.” (Paraphrase)
These words echoed in my ears. “The guy that says that’s not me. That’s the guy.”
When I point the finger of accusation at another let me see the three pointing back at me saying:” This is you.”
L-rd make me teachable.
Transform me into the G-dly man you want me to be.
Let this be the true desire of my heart.
Root out all of the love of self, money, pleasure and most of all do not let me deny the power of G-d to transform and change my life when I admit I am powerless over self and the only way is by turning to you Yeshua and give my entire life to you L-rd and become a follower of you Yeshua.
Everything Paul taught and spoke of was written in the Torah that was given to Moshe on Mount Sinai.
This sums up what G-d wants us to do. Without true forgiveness, I will not be forgiven.
“Master of the universe, I hereby forgive anyone who has angered or vexed me or sinned against me, whether physically or financially, against my honor or against anything else that belongs to me, whether accidentally or intentionally, inadvertently or deliberately, by speech or by deed… May no one be punished on my account. – Siddur”
It all goes back to the beginning.
The first line of our morning prayer. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.
Blessed is the Name of His glorious kingdom for all eternity.
You shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your resources. Let these matters that I command you today be upon your heart.
I love my teacher Pastor Steve Gray. Thank you HaShem bringing my family to World Revival Church Kansas City. This is a place where HaShem truly as found HIS foot stool and dwelling place.
